Two days in San Francisco<\/h4>\n

Two weeks ago, my boss asked me if I could go spend a few days on the west coast to meet some partners. I like to travel and the west coast is definitely a place I would love to explore more. The trip started with a couple of days in San Francisco. My time during the day was booked for my work, but I had some hours in\u00a0the evening to explore the city a little bit. Arriving from Ottawa I could not complain about the 20\u00b0C and the sweet sunny sky of that end of November. I had a charming room called \u00ab\u00a0Robin Williams\u00a0\u00bb with\u00a0a nice Underwood typewriter on my desk (the ones who\u00a0watched House of Card will probably get\u00a0the reference). My first reaction was\u00a0to go see the ocean along the docks. The fresh air of the sea and the beautiful sunset mixed with the lights of the city were just worth the long trip. Yes, San Francisco is about the ocean, but it is also about the architecture and the street art. I tried to capture a part of the ambiance of the unique west coast city. The trip was a little bit too short but I left San Francisco to meet Seattle, so the departure was not too painful.<\/p>\n

Il y a deux semaines, mon chef m’a demand\u00e9 si je pouvais aller passer quelques jours sur la c\u00f4te ouest pour rencontrer des partenaires. J’aime voyager et la c\u00f4te ouest est d\u00e9finitivement un endroit que je souhaite explorer davantage. Le voyage commen\u00e7a par deux journ\u00e9es \u00e0 San francisco. Mes journ\u00e9es \u00e9tant r\u00e9serv\u00e9es au travail j’ai tout de m\u00eame pu passer quelques heures de mes soir\u00e9es \u00e0 arpenter un peu la ville. Arrivant d’Ottawa je ne pouvais qu’appr\u00e9cier les 20\u00b0C et le doux soleil de cette fin de novembre. Pour couronner le tout je d\u00e9couvris une charmante chambre nomm\u00e9e \u00ab\u00a0Robin Williams\u00a0\u00bb avec\u00a0une jolie machine \u00e0 \u00e9crire de marque Underwood sur le bureau (ceux qui ont suivi House of Card comprendront la r\u00e9f\u00e9rence). Ma premi\u00e8re r\u00e9action fut d’aller voir l’oc\u00e9an le long des docks. L’air frais de la mer et le beau coucher de soleil m\u00e9lang\u00e9 aux couleurs de la ville valaient \u00e0 eux seuls la longue journ\u00e9e de voyage. Oui San Francisco est une ville de la mer mais c’est aussi une ville d’architecture et d’art urbain. J’ai essay\u00e9 en peu de temps de capturer une partie de l’ambiance de cette ville unique. Le passage \u00e9tait un peu trop court mais la suite du voyage m’envoyait d\u00e9couvrir Seattle, pour cette raison le d\u00e9part ne fut pas trop p\u00e9nible.<\/em><\/p>\n
