The majority of us live in cities. These urban areas are shaped by history, culture and life. In a never ending evolution, they never stop their mutation. They are all a little bit different, but also a little bit the same. How long do we have to live in a city to know its personality? How many times do we have to lose our way in its streets to become familiar with its secrets? Whether you spend a day, a week or a month: to photograph a city is always a challenge. In constant movement, you have to be patient and ready. Cities show us what they want us to see, but there is usually much more than that. I always try to bring back with me a little bit of their personality in my photographs: how they want me to see them and how I want to see them.
