A taste of southern Ontario

Back to Toronto

Finally, I was back in the Toronto area. I went there for the first time five years ago and since then I was thinking to return and explore more but I never had the time or energy to do it. Part of my family came to see me in Canada for the first time and then it was the perfect excuse to return in the biggest city of the country. We were there just for a couple of days, staying in the west side of the city. What I like in the big cities is to visit the alternative districts where creative people go give a new life to old areas. We went to visit the Distillery District. Located east of downtown, it contains numerous cafés, restaurants, and shops housed within heritage buildings of the former Gooderham and Worts Distillery. It is definitely a great recovered area of the city to walk around and have a drink. We finished the day on Queen Street West, enjoying the great French cuisine at La Pallette and looking for beautiful paintings on the walls of the streets. Our trip to southern Ontario could not be complete without a stop to see the Niagara Falls and drink wine in some wineries around the beautiful village of Niagara-on-the-Lake. This last step was the perfect conclusion: a few sips of delicious wine in the middle of the sunny vineyards.

  • Welcome

Hello dear visitor, welcome to my photography world. I am a radio frequency engineer who moved from France to experience a new life in Canada. Living far from my friends and family, traveling for fun and for work I created this blog and website to share a bit of my life with them and everyone else interested in photography. I grew up in front of the Atlantic Ocean in the south of the beautiful region of Brittany. As a passionate photographer, I try to catch the best of each moment from the life in the streets to the changing colors of nature. Photography has almost always been part of my life and helps me to understand and remember the beauty of our world. I hope you’ll enjoy your time spent here.
