Munich Film Street Photography

Twenty four hours to explore

End of a busy week of trade show, standing all day discussing the advantages of our new products, meeting  with potential customers, the days were pretty exhausting. If I had been in Ottawa I would have probably spent my Saturday resting at home, but I was in Munich for the first time. Let’s add to that the beautiful weather, the opening of Oktoberfest and the Bayern soccer team playing, impossible to stay inside and be lazy. At the end of the day, I walked around 15 kms in the streets, markets, plazas, neighborhoods, having breaks for food and fresh local weißbier. Two cameras: my Nikon Df for colour  and my Leica M6 for black and white with one roll of JCH 400 Street Pan and a roll of Kentmere 400. Life was everywhere, running, singing, sharing, making the old streets breathe: a nice introduction to the beautiful city of Munich. Here is a selection of my black and white memories, my exploration of black and white film street photography, the colour ones will follow. Have a good photographic trip.

  • Welcome

Hello dear visitor, welcome to my photography world. I am a radio frequency engineer who moved from France to experience a new life in Canada. Living far from my friends and family, traveling for fun and for work I created this blog and website to share a bit of my life with them and everyone else interested in photography. I grew up in front of the Atlantic Ocean in the south of the beautiful region of Brittany. As a passionate photographer, I try to catch the best of each moment from the life in the streets to the changing colors of nature. Photography has almost always been part of my life and helps me to understand and remember the beauty of our world. I hope you’ll enjoy your time spent here.
