Every time that I go back to France I try to spend a day in Nantes: the big city of my region, city of  my university years, of my student nights. I go to hang out in the streets of downtown, the well-known places, the spots I know. Whatever the weather is, it is always a nice day full of beautiful memories. But the last time was different. I suddenly realized Nantes was not mine anymore. Yes, Nantes has been mine. For many years, the streets, restaurants, stores, live shows, bus schedules were my routine, my rendez-vous, my crazy life, my friends… But now after a prolonged absence there was no one left to recognize me at the bus stop, no weekly meetings to be late for, just me in front of my favorite but closed and replaced pubs and boutiques. Everything was clear: I had continued my life on my own and Nantes did the same with only the ghosts of our memories between us. It was a strange feeling, sad and nice at the same time. Nothing terrible at the end, just a simple unexpected update of our relation. I will continue my visits, our history is written forever and who knows what is coming. While waiting, take care of yourself Nantes. I leave with my pictures and I will buy you a drink next time.

  • Welcome

Hello dear visitor, welcome to my photography world. I am a radio frequency engineer who moved from France to experience a new life in Canada. Living far from my friends and family, traveling for fun and for work I created this blog and website to share a bit of my life with them and everyone else interested in photography. I grew up in front of the Atlantic Ocean in the south of the beautiful region of Brittany. As a passionate photographer, I try to catch the best of each moment from the life in the streets to the changing colors of nature. Photography has almost always been part of my life and helps me to understand and remember the beauty of our world. I hope you’ll enjoy your time spent here.
