The color of cold

Beautiful and intense

Living in Quebec and working in Ontario forces me to cross the Ottawa River every day to go work. It can be quite annoying because I am definitely not the only one to do that and it results in very slow traffic from 7 am to 8:30 am. I am lucky enough to be able to start later than others, so I usually avoid the traffic and cross the river quickly. But today it took me more time than usual to cross the bridge: I had to stop my car on the little central island and enjoy the beautiful and intense color of cold. Due to the fact that the Ottawa River surrounds this little island, the trees freeze during the night and create a marvelous landscape that you usually only see in fairy tales. I had the chance to have my camera in my bag, I arrived late at work but it was worth it.

  • Welcome

Hello dear visitor, welcome to my photography world. I am a radio frequency engineer who moved from France to experience a new life in Canada. Living far from my friends and family, traveling for fun and for work I created this blog and website to share a bit of my life with them and everyone else interested in photography. I grew up in front of the Atlantic Ocean in the south of the beautiful region of Brittany. As a passionate photographer, I try to catch the best of each moment from the life in the streets to the changing colors of nature. Photography has almost always been part of my life and helps me to understand and remember the beauty of our world. I hope you’ll enjoy your time spent here.
